Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 13, 2026

Fayne ("Fayne," "we," "us," or "our") operates this store and website, including all related content, features, tools, products, and services (collectively, the "Services"), to provide you with a curated shopping experience. Our Services are hosted on Shopify. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you visit, use, or make a purchase through the Services, or when you otherwise communicate with us.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By accessing or using any part of the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and the practices described in it. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Services.

If there is any conflict between our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy controls with respect to the collection, processing, and disclosure of your personal information.

1. Personal Information We Collect

When we use the term "personal information," we mean information that identifies, relates to, or can reasonably be linked to you. It does not include information that has been anonymized or de-identified so that it can no longer be reasonably linked to you.

Depending on how you interact with the Services, where you live, and as permitted or required by applicable law, we may collect or process the following categories of personal information, including inferences drawn from it:

  • Contact details — such as your name, billing and shipping address, phone number, and email address.
  • Order and payment information — such as your payment card details, financial account information, transaction details, form of payment, and payment confirmations. Full payment card numbers are processed by our payment providers, not stored by us.
  • Account information — such as your username, password, security questions, preferences, and settings.
  • Transaction and shopping activity — such as items you view, add to your cart or wishlist, purchase, return, exchange, or cancel, and your order history.
  • Communications with us — such as the information you provide when you contact customer support, leave a review, or otherwise correspond with us.
  • Device and technical information — such as your device type, browser, network connection, IP address, and other unique identifiers.
  • Usage information — such as how, when, and how often you interact with or navigate the Services.

You are not required to provide personal information to us, but some features of the Services may not be available to you if you choose not to.

2. Where We Collect Your Information From

We may collect personal information from the following sources:

  • Directly from you — when you create an account, place an order, contact us, or otherwise provide information.
  • Automatically through the Services — from your device and through cookies and similar technologies when you use or visit the Services.
  • From our service providers — including Shopify and other vendors who collect or process information on our behalf.
  • From our partners and other third parties — such as analytics and advertising partners.

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, web beacons, and similar technologies to operate and secure the Services, remember your preferences, analyze traffic and performance, and support marketing and advertising.

You can usually control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Services. Where required by law, we obtain your consent before using non-essential cookies. For information on opting out of certain advertising-related tracking, see Section 8 below.

4. How We Use Your Personal Information

Depending on how you interact with us and which Services you use, we may use your personal information to:

  • Provide and improve the Services — process and fulfill your orders, arrange shipping, handle returns and exchanges, manage your account, remember your preferences, personalize your shopping experience, and otherwise perform our contract with you.
  • Marketing and advertising — send you promotional communications by email, text message, or postal mail (where permitted), and show you relevant advertising, including based on your activity on the Services.
  • Security and fraud prevention — authenticate accounts, secure payments, and detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent, unauthorized, unlawful, or harmful activity. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and should not share them with anyone.
  • Communicate with you — respond to your inquiries, provide customer support, and maintain our relationship with you.
  • Comply with legal obligations — comply with applicable law, respond to valid legal process or government requests, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, including enforcing our terms and policies.

We will only use your personal information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or for compatible purposes permitted by applicable law.

5. How We Disclose Your Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. In certain circumstances, and subject to this Privacy Policy, we may disclose your personal information to:

  • Service providers and vendors who perform services on our behalf — such as Shopify, payment processors, IT and cloud-storage providers, data analytics providers, customer support providers, and fulfillment and shipping partners.
  • Marketing and advertising partners who help us deliver and measure advertising. These partners use your information in accordance with their own privacy notices. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to opt out of this activity (see Section 8).
  • Third parties at your direction or with your consent — such as when you ask us to ship products or use social media or login integrations.
  • Our affiliates and others within our corporate group.
  • Authorities and other parties as legally required — in connection with a business transaction (such as a merger, financing, reorganization, or bankruptcy), to comply with legal obligations, to respond to lawful requests (such as subpoenas or warrants), to enforce our terms or policies, and to protect the rights, property, or safety of Fayne, our users, or others.

6. Relationship With Shopify

The Services are hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of the Services in order to provide and improve them. Information you submit may be transmitted to and shared with Shopify and with third parties that may be located in countries other than where you reside.

To help protect, grow, and improve our business, we use certain Shopify enhanced features that incorporate data from your interactions with our store, other merchants, and Shopify. In these circumstances, Shopify is responsible for processing that personal information, including responding to requests to exercise your rights. To learn more about how Shopify uses your personal information and the rights you may have, visit the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy at https://privacy.shopify.com/en.

7. Third-Party Websites and Links

The Services may contain links to websites or platforms operated by third parties. We are not responsible for the privacy or security practices of those third parties, or for the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of their content. We encourage you to review their privacy and security policies before providing any information. Our inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information. These rights are not absolute, may apply only in certain circumstances, and we may decline a request where permitted by law.

  • Right to access / know — request access to the personal information we hold about you.
  • Right to delete — request that we delete personal information we maintain about you.
  • Right to correct — request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to portability — request a copy of your personal information and, in certain cases, that we transfer it to a third party.
  • Right to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising — where applicable, opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information or its processing for targeted advertising.

Global Privacy Control (GPC). If you visit the Services with a GPC opt-out preference signal enabled, we will, where required by law, treat it as a request to opt out for that browser and device. We do not currently respond to other "Do Not Track" signals.

Managing communications. You can opt out of promotional emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in those emails. We may still send you non-promotional messages, such as those about your account or orders.

Additional rights (UK / European Economic Area). Subject to local law, you may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing, and, where we rely on consent, to withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 13. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. We may need to verify your identity before responding, as permitted or required by law. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, provided the agent can demonstrate your authorization and, where required, you verify your identity with us directly. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

If you have a complaint about how we handle your personal information, please contact us first. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to appeal our decision or to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Children's Privacy

The Services are not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of majority in their jurisdiction. As of the effective date of this Privacy Policy, we do not have actual knowledge that we "sell" or "share" the personal information of individuals under 16 years of age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. Security and Retention

We maintain administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Any information you send to us is transmitted at your own risk, and we recommend that you do not use unsecured channels to share sensitive or confidential information with us.

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, maintain your account, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements and policies, after which we delete or de-identify it in accordance with applicable law.

11. International Transfers

We may transfer, store, and process your personal information outside the country in which you live, including in the United States. Where we transfer personal information out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on recognized transfer mechanisms, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards, unless the transfer is to a country recognized as providing an adequate level of protection.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we do, we will post the revised version here, update the "Last updated" date above, and provide any additional notice required by applicable law. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised Privacy Policy.
